Every great movement begins with a singular vision. ShortFlicks Entertainment was founded by Sourav Chakraborty, a prominent entrepreneur, film enthusiast, and the Managing Director of Prismhub Online Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
Having also founded and served as the Festival Chairman of the prestigious International Kolkata Short Film Festival (IKSFF), Sourav recognized a critical gap in the industry: independent filmmakers possessed immense talent but lacked a dedicated vehicle to guide them from a digital release to real theater screens.
To bridge this gap, he built ShortFlicks as a hybrid platform—blending custom production services with a transparent, digital revenue-sharing model. By seamlessly connecting the digital reach of ShortFlicks with the prestigious festival network of IKSFF and live theatrical properties like Screen & Speak, he has created a complete, filmmaker-first ecosystem that empowers independent voices to walk the path from local vision to global visibility.
